Paragliding is an adventurous aero sports activity. Paragliding at Solang Valley: Paragliding is one of the most exciting adventure sports. It can be a mix of skydiving and hang gliding. A bird’s eye view of the surreal valley, an adrenalin rush and a memorable experience is all that Paragliding offers. Paragliding in Manali has become a fast growing adventure activity that is drawing INDIAN as well as western tourists for adventure holidays! Manali Paragliding is mostly happening at slopes of Solang Valley which is equally famous for other adventure sports activities like Zorbing, Horse Riding , Skiing and Rope Way, all in one ! Himachal Tourism sponsors training programmes and events at various times of the year. Paragliding is done in two places in Kullu Valley. Solang Nallah – Suitable for short flight 60 seconds to 2.5 minutes. Client is taken 150 to 200 mtrs. upper slope and takes the flight with the pilot. Lasting 1 Minutes to 2.5 minutes. Hallan – Suitable for High Flying 15 to 20 minutes. Client is taken high up near the mountain top and flies from there with pilot, landing in the base of the Valley in Sarsai near Naggar. Well they say the sky is the limit. If you want to touch the skies and sky is the limit for you, then hang gliding and paragliding is the sport for you. You jog down a slope and glide away from the mountain. You do not free-fall or jump off of a cliff.
